The name is program, and the program is nice: Sabbiadoro - golden sand. Indeed it gives you the very idea what is awaiting you at Lignano...

Lignano is located in the south of Friaul Venezia Giulia, right on the top of a peninsula. If you have a family this place is for you: Enjoy yourself at the wonderful beach (covering a surface of almost 5 miles) or stop by the lively city center for some amusement.

Aside of it Lignano Sabbiadoro (btw for orientations sake the beach is divided in three parts, Sabbiadoro, Pineta and Riviera) you have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful mediterranean vedetation in one of the 7 parks of Lignano.
