No kidding: Italians are extremely talkative. Though you can speak italian even if you don't speak italian if you speak with your hands. It definitely works! They WANT to understand what you say. So don't be shy.

| Lesson 4 (advanced)To suggest that someone - or, and this is where the advanced lesson begins - that you are gay: wag your ear with your thumb.
ATTENTION: Do not use this gesture unless you know what you are doing. This applies especially in the south of Italy. Whatever kind of misunderstanding on this topic could be, hmmm, painful. |
