Venice - the Adria Queen

Venice is undoubtly one of the highlights of the world. Visitors from all countries do highly estimate the unique flair of this city right in the middle of a lagoon. It's almost too romantic - which couple doesn't dream of a white wedding in Venice?

Exploring Venice

Exploring Venice is easy, because it is easy to get lost between one of the apparently countless bridges, bridglets, lanes, passages, colonades and places - so you have to explore ;)

But don't worry and don't forget: you can get back on track easily simply by keeping up with the crowd.

Another beautiful (we should say the true) way to discover Venice is, accordingly to the very nature of the city, by boat. Believe us: If you really want to catch the spirit of Venice you can't do it by foot.

If you have the option try to avoid the touristical standard behaviour (drop in, haste around, drop out, have an Espresso in between), and take your time to enjoy the approach to Venice by boat or ship as travellers have been doing this since ages. This is the way the oyster opens. (and have a look here how it is to live in Venice).

At the bottomline Venice - a part from a pleasant stay - could offer you more than you could admire in two lifetimes.

City of love

How came Venice is called the city of love? Trusting in your discreetion we can tell...

Don't miss it

the basilica and the tower of San Marco by the Piazza di San Marco. Very nice indeed: The mosaics at the floor of the basilica.
enjoying the fantastic view over Venice from the campanile (yes, there is an elevator)
visiting the medieval Palazzo Ducale
walking over the bridges of Rialto and dei Sospiri
visiting the collection of Peggy Guggenheim, and
making a little trip in a Gondola, very romantic even if you are not in love.
