Cape Kamenjak

Istria

It may no longer be an insider’s tip, but it’s still as beautiful as ever: Cape Kamenjak at the southernmost tip of Istria.

In this nature reserve, one beautiful swimming cove follows another along the rugged, rocky coastline, just 10 km from the popular resort town of Pula.

The coves all have rocky or pebble beaches and are accessible only on foot.
Above the shoreline, there is usually a parking lot for cars, unless you’re arriving by bike.

Please note that access to some coves is not permitted due to nature conservation regulations (e.g., Franina Cove or Uvala Drazice, where there are quite a few sea urchins).

The nearest towns are Premantura and Banjole, as well as Pula (about 15 km away), making them an ideal distance for a bike ride.
