Lido di Jesolo

Veneto

Sun, sea

and nightlife!

It's no coincidence that Jesolo ranks among the top 10 destinations in Italy. After all, its harbor is considered one of the liveliest in the Veneto region, offering entertainment day and night.

A resort with a long history

Thanks in no small part to its more than century-long tradition as a resort on the Adriatic, Jesolo offers excellent service to guests from all over the world who come here to relax, play sports, swim, sail, fish-you name it-and simply have a good time.

With 15 kilometers of beach, Jesolo's coastline is one of the longest in Italy-perfect for extended beach biking tours in the warm evening sun.

Reachable by car in just a few hours. (Jesolo is closer to Munich than to Hamburg, for example, so you can get there quickly even without a car.)

The resort town of Jesolo is divided into the districts of Jesolo Paese and Lido di Jesolo-where the beach is and where we're headed.
It features an inviting golden-yellow sandy beach (with a designated dog beach) stretching as far as the eye can see (the color, by the way, is said to be inspired by the Dolomites). It's wonderful to bask in the sun and then plunge into the refreshingly cool waters of the Adriatic Sea...

Weekly Market Market day is Friday, from early morning until 1:00 p.m. in Piazza Kennedy. Here you'll find just about everything you need (or don't need) to live. In the area surrounding Jesolo, market day is Thursday. Here's an overview of the Adriatic towns and their market days.

Jesolo is also close to cultural attractions: Venice is just a short boat ride away-and the boat is, in any case, the best way to approach the "Queen of the Adriatic" in a manner befitting her status.

One more attraction

Hear this and be amazed: In September 2021, when things were perhaps a bit quieter due to the COVID-19 lockdowns, 15 turtles hatchedin Jesolo.

Female turtles actually prefer the southern Italian region of Campania. Clearly, Jesolo is doing something right :)
