Rosolina Mare

Veneto

A largely unspoiled paradise - the lagoon landscape surrounding Rosolina Mare.

The densely forested, fairly long (approx. 8.5 km) Rosolina Mare peninsula boasts excellent tourist facilities. It features hotels, campgrounds, vacation villages, water parks, tennis courts, horseback riding stables, and numerous other sports activities.

During the summer season, organized fishing trips are available year-round (locals fish for mullet, while catfish and zander are mostly caught by vacationers).

Horseback riding tours through the lagoon landscape are also available. And in case your children ask: The nearest amusement park (Mirabilandia) is 60 km away.

Things to Do

in Rosolina Mare

In addition to the historically significant towns in the surrounding area (e.g., Venice, Padova, Ravenna, Adria, Chioggia, Rovigo, Pomposa), visitors can also explore the Po Delta Nature Reserve, whose northernmost reaches extend into the area around Rosolina Mare.

The area around Rosolina Mare is also ideal for bike tours through forests and lagoons. Near Porto Caleri (about 5 km away) is a botanical garden that is especially worth seeing in the spring.

A pristine lagoon landscape

Rosolina’s special charm lies in its unspoiled natural beauty, thanks in no small part to its proximity to the Po Delta Nature Park. A nine-kilometer-long sandy beach with undisturbed dunes makes a visit to this natural setting a truly memorable experience.

A small observation tower has also been built, offering a panoramic view of the landscape.
