The old harbor of Caorle.

Relaxing at Antica Taverna with a scampo and a glass of Tocai Friulano.
The day is coming to an end,
and Orata is on its way
At twilight, you can sit here comfortably by the harbor and watch the fishing boats set out from here every day (and perhaps return with your sea bream). Enjoying some scampi and a glass of Tocai Italico at one of the nearby harbor bars-that's what a vacation is all about.

Golden Hour in Caorle.
The colorful houses
of Caorle
In Caorle, with its many colorful houses, the atmosphere is almost tangible-something you'll find in very few places. The vibrant colors have a long tradition (as is also the case in Burano, for example), as they help fishermen find their way back to the right house when they return home.
Along the long beach - perfect for long walks and beach biking - there are many beach clubs with beach volleyball courts and bocce courts. The beautiful 9-holePra' delle Torrigolf course is also nearby.
The public beach is located right next to the pier on the Livenza river, heading towards Porto S. Margherita. During the summer months, children’s games, beach volleyball and bocce tournaments take place here. You can also take surfing lessons or hire a pedal boat.
The Consorzio Arenili di Caorle offers beach entertainment for tourists. The entertainers organise games for children, tournaments for adults, mountain bike excursions and exercise classes. All of this is provided free of charge.
