Caorle ↔ Porto S. Margherita

and back

The ferry runs from Porto Santa Margherita to Caorle (and back) and offers a quick way to reach the two resort towns, which are separated by the Livenza River.

The Botter family has been running this ferry service for thirty years. The landing stage in Caorle is located at the western end of the beach, while the one in Porto Santa Margherita is next to the harbor, at the eastern end of Porto S. Margherita.

The ferry carries pedestrians as well as cars and cyclists. During the summer, the ferry operates daily in the morning from 7:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and in the afternoon and evening from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

While we're here: Just to the right is the excellent seafood restaurant Al Faro. You shouldn't miss this opportunity to enjoy a small primo.
