takes you by ferry and bus - specifically, bus line 11 - via Santa Maria del Mare, the Lido of Venice, and Pellestrina. First, you take the ferry to Santa Maria del Mare, where you transfer to a local bus. This bus then takes the ferry to Pellestrina. From the "main station" on the Lido (Santa Maria Elisabetta), you take the vaporetto, and in just over an hour you’ll be in St. Mark’s Square.
